Software Sales Representative

Location: Ontario – Greater Toronto / Ottawa area (Fully Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Software Sales Representative to join our team. This is a fully remote position based in Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software sales, with 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for driving sales of our cloud-based foster care case management tools, building relationships with potential clients, and achieving sales targets.

Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada and reside in Canada for the duration of their employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage prospective clients in the adoption/foster care sector.

  • Present and demonstrate Alo Solutions software products to potential clients.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Understand client needs and tailor sales presentations accordingly.

  • Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.

  • Provide excellent customer service and follow-up support alongside the account management teams.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and campaigns.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software sales

  • Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

  • Experience with government contracts is an asset

  • Experience working with Indigenous and/or Black community organizations is a strong plus

Salary and Benefits:

  • Base salary of $40,000 plus commission and bonus opportunities

  • Health insurance package

  • 8 days paid time off (PTO), 3 week paid vacations and holidays

  • Flexible working hours

  • Fully remote

Community account manager

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage long-term relationships with clients and community organizations

  • Communicate with clients using email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings

  • Develop critical understanding of client and client community needs and objectives

  • Deliver exceptional client service

  • Assist technical teams with monitoring and analyzing customer analytics

  • Collaborate with the Sales/Business Development team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing client relationships

  • Liaise between the client, client community, and internal teams

Requirements

  • Understanding of Black and Indigenous community needs and objectives

  • Education through an accredited institution, or attestable self-directed study, in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field

  • Relevant experience in client-facing roles, especially in a technical industry

  • Minimum of three to five years of general work experience, including retail or general service roles

Developers

Responsibilities

  • Produce clean, efficient code based on product specifications

  • Test and deploy programs and systems

  • Fix and improve existing software solution

  • Integrate software components and third-party programs

Requirements

  • Knowledge of relevant coding languages (Ruby, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (AngularJS, Git, Rails)

  • Education through an accredited institution, or attestable self-directed study, in computer science; or relevant programs such as coding bootcamps

  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude

  • Minimum of three to five years of general work experience, including retail or general service roles
